I think I'm returning the SGS2

I know what you mean about building penetration. Here in Greer SC, I get great service most everywhere I go. But this past weekend when I visited my grandparents in GA I couldn't get any signal at all inside of their house. Yet as soon as I stepped outside I had 3 bars of 4G. Getting around 6 down.

I was on Verizon up until a couple weeks ago when I switched to the tmobile 30/month 100 minutes 5GB plan. Verizon's coverage is second to none. I had a signal and great building penetration no matter where I was. But I was also paying nearly 100 a month. Its just not worth it. I am very happy with my tmobile service so far and for over 60 dollars less a month its worth the few times I'm without data to me.

im thinking about returning for a google nexus... ill save about 100 bucks and ill have ICS immediately, instead of waiting for t mo to release, whenever that is.

I really don't understand trading gs2 for a nexus just for ICS. Trading for worse hardware for a OS that does nothing gingerbread can't already do unless you count HW acceleration. I had a Galaxy Nexus at one time and there is no way in hell I would go back to it. But to each there own I guess.

My only issue with my SGS2 is that it has an NFC chip, which is currently useless (for the most part).

I'd LOVE to have Google Wallet on my S2, and have looked into the entire work around thing. I have gotten as far as getting the app on my phone, but it is "unsupported by my carrier/country".

Hopefully now that the unlocked Nexus phone's are working on TMO with wallet, someone will figure out how to get it working on our S2's!

The worst signal I get is at home, but I still get an average 10mbps up, and 1.50mbps down on my galaxy s2. Dallas, TX
