This is interesting. I asked about replacing my glass a few weeks ago. Didn't do it yet. I am outside looking at my phone and it looks like another protector is on my phone. I took off the tempered glass protector I put on. This glass does not disappear into the sides of the phone an I can see rounded edges on the corners. Is that the way a phone without a glass protector is supposed to look like or do you think I have another glass protector that came with the phone? Do you think that means I got a used prepared phone instead of a new one? I got it on eBay and it said it was new and it look brand new but I have a feeling there is a glass protector here especially the way it fits over the camera lens in the front as it is not smack in the middle. What do you think? I was going to replace the glass because there are two squid looking like cracks and I have a feeling this is not the original glass or the glass underneath.

I will take some pictures but does anyone have glass that allows you to easily put your finger underneath the corners to pull it off?

Not sure what you are really meaning without being able to see

This will be better in daylight but you can see the corner where you can stick your nail under it to lift up, whatever that is. I doubt that's the original glass.

Here are pictures from today. You can see the rounded corners and I assume that is not part of the gorilla glass that's the original glass on the screen. So can I just pull that off?

I can't see both pictures I posted and for some reason I can't expand them. So here's the first one that didn't show up with the second one

I pulled off the second screen protector and in fact the original glass was cracked. So, have any of you changed the glass and how hard was it to do?

Yup that's a screen protector no question. I feel like we're being trolled.

OK, I've seen about ten videos. The easiest way seems to be to order the entire screen assembly instead of just getting the glass because of all the things you need to take off the screen assembly. I don't think the part where you have to heat the glass break the glue looks all that difficult . So, is there a better screen assembly to order? Do they all come with the same Gorilla Glass that the v20 came with? In that video everything pops out so perfectly but is that what really happens?

Why the hell did I get a supposed new v20 with a screen protector on it? So that means I put a screen protector on top of the screen protector.

are you sure you didn't crack your screen trying to get the screen protector off?

you would be able to see those cracks through 2 screen protectors. they wouldn't hide that.

You got a broken phone used. How long ago did you get it?

I got it last March, and LG doesn't want to hear anything about it because I bought it from eBay, which is not an authorized LG dealer.

I stopped buying anything on eBay years ago. Too many scams.
Yup!
My first LG V20 I purchased new was actually crap. It lasted 5 weeks. When I took it in for repairs the guy said it was not only water damaged but had been heated up to reset the solder. He re-cooked it and I got another four months out of it.
The second one I bought from a closer, more reputable seller, just in case. It is perfect and still works great.
I love the phone so much I bought a second one (really, a third one) as a spare for when my wife's G5 craps out.
Turns out the new one was manufactured in Jan 2018 and has Oreo on it.
I just can't say enough about this phone.

No one beats LG in phone audio quality.
