I turned my mobile data off and got a notification that won't go away can anyone help me

Welcome to Android Central! Is it a notification in the status bar, or is it a "toast" notification (i.e., a small window superimposed in the middle of the screen somewhere)?

Yes it is in the status bar looks like two arrows one up and down with a / going thru them

Did you turn on NFC in the settings. Sounds like you describing the NFC notification you get when it is on.

If your s7 has been updated to nougat, it will stay up on the top left until you turn it back on again. It isn't anything that will cause you problems though.

no its not that it has to do with mobile data being turned on and off

Are you on Marshmallow? Do you have Good Lock installed? I've just tried disabling mobile data on my Galaxy S7 with the Nougat update and there's no notification like what you're describing.
