AC Question

I accidentally uninstalled Google play store (rooted phone, Samsung SGH-T989D) how do I get it back? I have tried sources like All mirror but now the play store crashes when I try to install a app.

Hello and welcome to Android Central forums...
I think simple installation won't be able to solve the situation..
As your device is rooted.. You can try flashing gapps (minimal module)..but be sure to clean the cache partition before that...
Let me know if it fixed the issue...!!
Regards

WHAT does that even MEAN!? Flashing gapps... please don't use terms like that. I'm always grateful for useful help but it has to be in plain language.

I had the same problem. "Display disabled apps" helped me. First be sure it is gone. I couldn't access anything about play store with the built in browser so i used chrome. It said it was installed but it was invisible. If it is gone the play store on chrome should let you reinstall it. If it says it's installed but there's no icon you can solve it. Open your apps then click the left settings button. You should see a popup menu and one option is to show an option to display disabled apps. That option should bring it back. You just select it from the ones that appear.
