so, the rom should take about a minute to install, and when you reboot it might take 5-10 min on the bootup screen. Don't worry about how long its taking unless it goes over ten min, if it does let it go fifteen before we need to do something to fix it.

no problem man you should def read CyberWarrior's Guide that i linked ya to - that will show ya how to backup and restore and flash recovery etc.

highly recommend flashing recovery for good - making a fresh backup - and then checking out some real roms like AOKP or Liquid or what have you.
