I updated my S3 to the unofficial 4.2.2 JellyBean firmware. How do I go back to the OFFICIAL 4.2.1?

After I updated my Samsung Galaxy S3 to the unofficial 4.2.2 leaked release, I found that even after 9 hours during the night in which my phone has been connected to the charger, it still didn't get to 100%! It also drains the battery too fast.
I just want to go back to the official 4.2.1 firmware so that next month I can update to the official 4.2.2 without having any problems.
How do I go back to the stock 4.2.1?
Please help :(

Download a stock firmware for your phone. Then use a program called Odin to flash to your desired firnware. Search on Google, you should find some guides and tutorials for it.

But will I be able to update my firmware through my phone tot he official firmware each time? Odin will bring me back to the official 4.2.1 firmware?

Yes, you will be able to receive the official updates that are being pushed by your carrier. As for taking you back to your preferred firmware, you need to find an official firmware that's for your phone model number. Since you want to downgrade to 4.2.1, you will need to download that and then use Odin to flash that firmware to your phone. After that, everything will go back to 4.2.1

Make sure you backup all of your important files to your PC or somewhere, because it will do a factory restore, which will erase your phone settings. So, just backup pictures, mp3s, bookmarks, or anything that you may have before moving on with the process.

Isn't there any way I can do that without having all of my data deleted? :/

As far as I know, I don't think so. You can look around of the Play Store and see if you can find any apps that can help you backup with your data and then restore it after you had downgraded your firmware.

Here is the website to go look for your firmware. Make sure you look for your model.
