I want to upgrade the 128 GB SD card to a 256 GB SD card.

I want to upgrade the 128 GB SD card to a 256 GB SD card. How do I transfer information from the earlier SD card for a Galaxy S7 edge?
Can the card be cloned or copied and if so how?

If you have access to a pc, connect your S7 Edge to the pc, via the phones usb cable.
Then copy the contents of the 128GB Card to a folder on the pc.
Check that everything has been copied from the SD Card to the pc folder.
Remove existing card, insert the 256GB Card, then copy the folder contents on
your pc to the 258 GB Card.
