I still have the unlimited Web and I get a discount with my job. I was trying to order the S4 retail through the web. The web was saying I might get a special price. I go through the whole process and it was retail. OK I call CS and talk to a real nice lady and tell her I want to pay retail for the S4, what's this special price that I get. SO she says it is UNDER $500. I repeated the price and she said yes. So, I put it on speaker phone and have her say the price again, because I have surveillance cameras with audio at work. I saved the file and if they put up a fight I have proof that they said it. They always say it might be recorded... Well I recorded it was recorded til the end, where she shes thank you for choosing Verizon Wireless. :D:D:D:D

I doubt they will, I've heard of lines with corporate discounts getting better prices on retail phones.

Blue, Technically that recording wouldn't hold up in court in most states. not saying your wont but there is a high chance that they will throw that out because you did't notify them that you were recording them.

The rerecording when you call Verizon says "it may be recorded"

BTW cute dog in the pic... I love Husky's

I second the husky. Love em.

As for the $500 discount. Can you explain how you are getting it? I only have 20% off my bill and 25% off accessories.

Shiba inu is a close relative to the AKK The breed was developed with Siberian and Alaskan Huskies using Schipperke and American Eskimo Dog

It's like a mini Husky, AWESOME

U have no idea how she came up with the price... I'll take it though

All calls are recorded by vzw. And your account is time stamped when you called in so they can go back to that time and pull the call and listen to it. You should also note that just because someone in CS tells you something it doesn't mean verizon has to honor it. Reps make mistakes and give out misinformation all the time.

"may" does not mean "will".

And that's Verizon notifying you. You did not notify them that you were recording the call, which you must do in most states according to law.
