I9300 Lollipop Update?

I know that the I9300 didn't officially receive an update to KitKat, but I've seen in a couple places that it might possibly get Lollipop. I've also seen people say that those stories are old and/or fake, but is it even possible? I've heard KitKat is horrible and takes up a lot of space, and that the I9300 might be able to handle Lollipop. Has anyone heard anything more recent about this?

I'd really be surprised to see Samsung update the S3. I know that will probably make some angry but it comes down to overall resources tied up into updating the devices. Eventually they have to draw the line somewhere.

S3 i9300 will never get to take Lollipop officially. If the device didn't get Kit Kat how you could even think it would get Lollipop.

The only way you could do is to flash a custom Rom having Lollipop.

Well officially it wont get it, but you can flash Resurrection Remix Rom with Lollipop and is not as smooth as running Jelly Bean but still awesome
