Ice Cream Sandwich to Optimus S?

Re: Ice Cream Sandwhich to Optimus S?

it's really not much to see or do. Just gives you the basic file structure and boots. Touchscreen works better in source builds.

Yep. SDK ports are always iffy, especially on older devices that use legacy touchscreen drivers (LG, I'm looking at you). The source builds can generally be configured to support the older hardware and proprietary bits.

Ok thanks for clarifying. Probably mess around with it anyways

Re: Ice Cream Sandwhich to Optimus S?

yeah right. No one will TRY or ATTEMPT

I'm going to bite my tongue.

Then how did they get the IceS1.zip to work???
It was made for the ZTE Blade.

Yes the IceS1.zip was ported from the ZTE Blade SDK port. But the ZTE Blade ICS ROM you previously linked to is based on AOSP. Maybe it can be re-ported to the Optimus S, but don't get your hopes up.
