It was made for the ZTE Blade.

One person can to anything including everything at every level. Just depends on your experience points and what you have installed in your available slots

One Question. Has it been done cuz if someone has a running version Stable or not i wanna try as long as it will flash i will try/test. any response would be helpful.

i think for as awesome as it would be to have ICS on the optimus...our devices just arent going to do it justice. and may even disappoint. and not that i wouldnt jump on the chance to run it on our optis.it just seems to me that by doing away with the familiar 4 buttons at the bottom, whether tactile or touch sensetive, and replacing them with the 3 on screen buttons, wed be missing out on some of the most noticeable changes as a user. google has made the hardware a little more important for 4.0 so we all have to go out and buy a new one to get the full experience :-\ just my 2 cents.

Actually the hardware buttons would work and the software buttons would be disabled, but yes I agree. However on the other hand, why not?

i have tested it it starts to flash it but about after 30 seconds in it says instalation aborted it said something about apk's but what if you install an optimus v recovery?????

I bet after 2-3 months after it is on a lot of the cyanogenmod devices someone will get it working for the optimus

I am going to start working on porting android 4.0 to the LG Optimus S and I am looking for some people to help me along the way. anybody? I have already begun looking and testing different builds I have put together, and am making some head way

I've got an extra Optimus S laying around I'm down to test whatever on.

I'm damned grateful for the healthy love of knowledge and challenge that the devs in this forum show. The fact that thekraven found a half-similar build and made at least the barebones work on this device proves that this bunch is on the ball. Looking forward to further inroads and progress!

Interesting. It looks like that's for a GSM phone though (probably Optimus One) so use EXTREME caution.

Edit: its for the GT540. Basically don't flash it until it's rendered safe.

This will flash to optimus s Just turn OFF signature verification I just flashed and works and boots..
Down side i cant tell u if you get signal or data cuz my anttena is brocken..
But it WILL Flash and Work!
