Big Red doesn't get the joke. They probably would've handed out razor blade flavored ice cream sandwiches if they really tried to grow a sense of humor and be "cool" like European carriers.

not sheepishly following the whinefest isnt considered trolling, sorry.
and I have plenty of humor, I just also have common sense and a little more respect for myself then to cry on a forum all day because I want a new toy.
It's just funny how many of you try to demonize Verizon in almost every post you make.

Im not sure if you even read the posts in the thread but people were making light hearted jokes about the ice cream sandwiches that were handed out not demonizing Verizon.
its only 9am people. This day isnt starting off so well on these forums from a user standpoint, lighten up.

How about the context of it on this forum with every other thread and post by the same dozen people that have nothing but bad to say about Verizon, and random and changing conspiracy theories to shift blame whenever (and always) to Verizon regardless of whats going on.. as long as Nexus, Google, and Samsung are protected so their fanboyism isnt affected.
It's a simple comment, if Verizon is so bad move along.. if you really think they cant manage a company, cant market, are evil, come up with long term plans to annoy customers purely for enjoyment etc + the other 100 random conspiracy theories about Verizon that are tossed around on here then move to a different carrier..
I think we both know who needs to get out more btw.

I don't really understand this line of thinking though, honestly. People want the GNex on an ACTUAL 4g LTE network, so there really isn't another carrier. People were spitting out this same line in February, and although everyone was agitated, the people from those forums (who were actually there pre-launch) are happy as hell with their Thunderbolt, and glad they waited.
Samsung doesn't have fanboys, and honestly neither does Verizon. This is all about Google's software, that just happens to be on Verizon/Samsung hardware. Sure people want it with Verizon's radio, but other than that, this issue is isolated to being a Google software lust (which I'm not bashing in the slightest, because I'm included. Just making a point).
