icloud mail issue

Good day all. I switched from ios to Android (GS6 Edge) and I'm having trouble setting up my icloud mail. I have two step authentication and I don't know if that's effecting the setup time. It just won't let me add my credentials. Has anyone had any success in getting their icloud mail loaded on their device?
