Icon trouble

I have stock froyo installed. I'm having trouble with the app icons I have installed onto the sd card. Every time I re start the phone all the icons would change to plain blank missing ones and I would have to put them back. Its starting to get annoying. Any of you guys have this same issue.

Did you do the trick that forces all apps to the SD card? or are you referring to the apps that have this feature enabled by the dev?

You say you have stock FroYo installed. Does that mean you are not using a custom launcher either? I had that probelm with LauncherPro, but the dev fixed it. I never had it happen with plain FroYo. If you use a launcher contact the dev, if not, contact Google support.

I've never thought about the launcher. I've been using adw launcher since day one. I'll try going back to stock launcher and see if this happens.

So its ADW launcher that is causing this problem. I'll be emailing to dev. Thanks for the help.

I found a solution but it's a little bit of a pain. Change to default stock froyo launcher before restarting the phone. Once the phone has been restarted change it back to ADW being default.

I noticed this as well with ADW. It looks as though ADW is starting up before the SD card is fully mounted, so the icons for apps stored there are not showing up right away. I've been going into ADW settings, enabling something that forces ADW to refresh, then disabling the setting again. Kind of annoying for now.. I'll be emailing the dev as well.

I emailed the dev and he is aware of the problem. Hopefully there is a fix in the future.
