Icons appear faintly during update install

[Android Central Question]

I've just updated my phone and during the install part I have noticed that there is a very faint image of a microphone and magnifying glass on the right hand side of the screen. There are a couple other icons, but I can't make them out.

Does anyone know why they are there? I can't see them now, so I don't think its a damaged display.

Welcome to Android Central! Which phone? It could be screen burn-in, which you may not have noticed before if you're used to seeing lots of images on the screen. The emptier screen while updating might have brought more attention to it. There's typically nothing you can do about burn-in if it's already occurred.
