Hello guys, I got some problem with the status bar of my tablet (GoClever, Android 4.0.4). The icons like clock, battery level, connections, notifications suddenly disappeared. The three buttons on the left of the bar (back arrow, desktom button and last running programs button) left there. Can you, please, help me how to get back the lost icons? I dont want to use a factory data reset. I did nothing unusual (no updating or instaling anything) when this happens.
Please, help me.

Many thanks!

Welcome to Android Central! I'm not familiar with that tablet, but have you tried rebooting it? In other words, power it down completely, then start it up again.

Do you have any alternate 3rd party Launchers installed, or is it just what came installed with the tablet? Some 3rd party launchers like Nova Launcher allow you to hide the Notification Bar.

No, I have no such lauchers instaled. Actually, the notification bar is not hidden. It is visible, just the icons (clock, battery, connections) disappeared. I even wasn't installing any new application, when the icons disappeared.

Sorry, wish I could help you more, but I don't have any other suggestions at this point besides a factory data reset. Good luck!

I installed NOVA now. where in its settings can I control the status bar? it is hidden for me as well. Probably clicked Expanded somewhere, but I cannot reverse the process.

When did that happen? I mean, what are you doing when that happened?
