Can I get a link to the .zip? Also will this just Root the Bionic with ICS already installed with no root?

Thanks,

Read back through this thread... You'll find a link to my thread. It can apply root to ics, yes.

I've used WiFi Tether 3.1-beta14, FoxFi, and the Mobile Hotspot (w DB hack) successfully on .228, .230, and now .232. On all versions it is much more stable than on Gingerbread.

What settings are you using for the wifi tether, meaning what profile and settings? I can't get it to work. Thanks.

That's interesting everyone having problems with Tethering. I happen to use Foxfi all weekend during the 4th of July while camping and had absolutely no problems on the last build and did not have to do anything special to get it to run.

Please note though, my .232 update did not go as well and I ended up formatting Data and Cache and starting over clean reinstalling my apps the old-fashioned way with my Titanium Backup bringing my unit to a crawl. Everything on .232 is running now perfectly after the initial rebuild including Foxfi. Sorli...

Just updated to ICS .232 and its awesome. Quick question though. Let say the official ICS gets released for the Bionic. How would I go about updating from the leak to the official?

So you pushed a leak onto your phone without fully understanding the process to get back on the OTA path? :( That makes me sad. The short answer is you don't update directly to the OTA version. The updates all require you to be on 905 in order to install. Lucky for you I wrote a script to automate a lot of that process. Look back in this thread and you'll find a link to it. It will keep all your data and apps in tact.

I dont know if I'm the only one but it keeps saying: "error: device not found" when running the runme program. Any advice?

Did you connect it to USB, enable USB debugging, and set the phone to media device (MTP) mode? And make sure to install the moto driver manager so you get the latest drivers.

I did all that but maybe didnt enable USB debugging. How is that done on ICS(I am using .230 now) ?

I enabled USB debugging. Now I'm at the step to install .232 after the .905 update and it saying "E: failed to verify whole-file signature" and aborted the installation. Can you assist? Thanks in advance.

You need to post the whole error. It's possible the 232 download is somehow corrupt. That's not really a lot to go on other than it doesn't want to flash 232 for whatever reason.

I'm at your step 3 Show recovery steps. After installing .905 on the phone from recovery I then applied update to .232 per your instructions. The error of this installation had two lines. 1st "E: failed to verify whole-file signiture" next line "E:signature verification failed" then finally "Installation aborted"

Then it doesn't like the file. So you're going to need to replace the file on your sdcard.

I installed a new .232 and now the setup always stalled and the phone restarts itself over and over. I took out the battery and same thing is happening. Any thoughts?
