ICS and Sense 3.5 or 4.0

yeah but ics or not if there is a heavy skin on top that is going to slow it down. I had a galaxy nexus so I know what stock android can be like.

I don't believe I said anything to disagree w/ you. My post was a rooted viewpoint, from running Sense(3.6) atop ICS. It's been a much different experience from GB. CPU clearly isn't being taxed in the slightest. I have yet to experience any lagginess or bogging down. I doubt stock Sense 4.0 will compete w/ the custom roms that we'll see but it is intriguing to see how the newly trimmed skin plays on unrooted devices.

I've read his posts. And then I went and read actual information from HTC that they gave to the verge.

The rezound will see 3.6 and that's it.

Not sure what he meant in that referred post. Way I read it was in terms of rooting, you're wrong . Regardless of what HTC dishes out skin wise in the forthcoming update. Devs will bring it and many Rezounds will experience it and don't need to read anything to know that is a fact.

I doubt the rezound will get sense 4.0 most likely htc will continue with their fragmented sense like they had before and only the new top end models get the latest sense.

I am afraid that Droid800 is right :-\ look the info about several HTC Sensation models rolling out in Germany in few days I t's Sence 3.6 :(

FYI, if you act on it, edit your "stock for now", to "rooted and ready". You will run Sense 4.0 over, at least, ICS 4.0.3 on your Rezound. Shortly before or after it is released en masse. They've already got the One X rooted so devs will piece it together a port it over in a flash.

What I get from the info is that it will be 3.x that htc puts on the rezound. Which really makes sense because they don't want it to compete with the one lineup. Htc has sated that it is because of hardware restrictions, which for the rezound is obviously not an issue but its easier and better for them marketing wise.

The good news is that someone will probably port a clean 4.0 Rom over and be awesome:D
