I see all these videos on the Galaxy Nexus and I want to know more. I have seen enough of them panning left and right, showing me the app drawer, face unlock, ninjas rolling around.

I want to see the details and have some questions answered and other people can ask away:

1) when you are in a call, and you press the home button, a status icon should be shown on the bar. My question is, do widget controls (like the music controls) show up in the pull down notification window so I can enter back into phone, or hang up or mute? Touchwiz 4.0 had this and it's brilliant.

2) How is the responsiveness when you type on the phone number pad, is there vibration? is it strong that distrupts when typing?

3) during landscape typing, does the it take up the entire screen like other android versions.

4) Can you change the wallpaper on the lock screen separate from the actual wallpaper?

5) Does Galaxy Nexus support 5GHZ Wifi? How is the wifi?

6) How is the DAC? Considering that the Nexus S had a beast DAC and the SGS2 does not.

That's all I can think of right now...

1) you can at least go back to the call... dunno about being able to mute or hang-up from notification window
2) using the ICS keyboard from the market, there is haptic feedback and it is wonderful. Don't know about the galaxy nexus as I'm using something else
3) Yes
4) Dunno
5) The WiFi module is dual band... dunno if the software supports it Link
6) Dunno, but its bundles with the OMAP 4 Processor if that helps.

When on a call you just have a notification which allows you to go back into the call window, and shows the call length. Screenshot:

In the dialer there are no haptics when dialing numbers only the normal dial tones.

The places in which the phone has haptics is in the normal keyboard, the software android keys, and on the lockscreen.

The behaviour is the same as previous android versions see Screenshot:

As far as I can tell you cannot do this.

5) Does Galaxy Nexus support 5GHZ Wifi? How is the wifi?
Yes it does support both 2.4Ghz and 5Ghz. The wifi seems fine to me, not wildly better or worse than my previous phone (nexus one)

Thanks for the reply, I'm very disappoint they didn't add the controls for phone stuff to notification just like music controls. Its found on touchwiz and it really convenient because that extra tap takes longer (as dumb as that sounds)

going from pure gingerbread to touchwiz, i did have some...wow, thats such a convenient feature.
