ICS-like lock screen?

did anyone get a different lockscreen after updating to GB? yesterday i odined back to stock, inserted an sd card with nothing but update.zip, performed the update, and sometime after i noticed that the lock screen was new! it looked like something from ICS! i was surprised (and impressed) since i havent installed anything yet that could have done this (that i know of), just a few google apps, a couple of live wallpapers that i had bought before... nothing new.

so... i was having FC with my google maps and thought i'd repeat the whole odin->update thing. i did. so the good news is, my google maps works now, np there... but the lock screen is not there anymore and i cant figure out where it came from

Are you sure you didnt have WidgetLocker installed? Thats what it looks like.

huh i guess thats what is was. i must have installed that by accident instead of something else as havent used it in a while and must have accidentally installed it when i got distracted. so thanx. i KNEW someone would help me figure this out

edit: i guess theyve done some updates to it since the time i used it. no wander i didnt recognise it :-[

now that i just looked at it id does in fact has an "ics-like" lock screen. see, and Paul thought i was dreaming LoL

Yeah, their last big update added that and a lot more. I use WidgetLocker and love it.

I mean.. I've looked at your avatar for months and months that you've been around in the Epic 4g area... That alone makes me laugh...

I'm going to have to check that app out. It looks like it could be really cool. I hate the stock unlock, it's so boring, glad there is an alternative.

Always an alternative.. Remember this is an ANDROID PHONE!

Stock or Rooted there is always options.. Not like umm cough cough.. FruitPhone cough...
