ICS lock screen issue....

I have noticed that the ICS lock screen has an issue. I have mine set to pattern unlock, but probably 1/4 of the time it goes back to the normal circle lock screen. Anyone else seen this issue?

I can't say anything about ICS (unfortunately) but I know it did it on Gingerbread to me as well. So maybe it's a bug in the "Pattern Unlock" more so than the lockscreen? I don't know though...

Does the same w/ face unlock....about a quarter of the time it goes to the slide to unlock screen instead of gave unlock....this issue was reported in the soak by a number of testers.

Never had an issue with GB pattern lock screem, just been seeing it with ICS. Petty happy if that's my only issue so far.

I think it has to do with the settings....I.e when ur phone locks automatically it doesn't do the lock we want try changing the settings i did and no more

I've noticed it as well when using face lock the first day. Kept going to slide lock every now and then. I just use slide lock for now.

Hey all, newbie here (both to the forum and to Android). I received the OTA ICS update on my stock Razr and have been experiencing the same issue. Kinda ticks me off when I lock my screen with the pattern lock and then later when I go to use my phone, it reverts to the slide lock (which isn't even locked) and I can get right into it without any security. If I lock with the power button and then again to unlock, it goes back to the pattern lock but still a big hole. Good job ICS developers. Ya wouldn't want to toss out another update to FIX this glaring mistake would ya?

Are you sure you have the security timeout set to your liking? Go to Settings->Security->Automatically lock, and you can set it to lock from 30 minutes all the way down to 5 seconds after you turn off the screen. If you want your phone to lock immediately when you turn off the screen, then check "Power button instantly locks."

I've had it set to 20 minutes but I'm pretty sure I've come back to it hours later and found the slide in place. I'll try setting it to 5 seconds and see if that's it. My 'Power Button Instantly Locks' setting is checked and that works fine.
