Ics official release today.

I do agree about using what we have, it would be nice to have CM7 on here

I doubt CM7 development would start since ICS source has been published, and ICS is right around the corner.

I see on LG's open source site there is a LS840ZVI now listed?
Last i checked it was LS840ZVH then before that it was LS840ZVG
Anybody know what the heck is going on?, you would think LG and Sprint would have their act together with this update.

Looks like Sprint is finding bugs and LG is fixing them. But that is just my .02

I believe they are having some issues with sprint bloatware apps. and also if I understood they were trying too do battery tweaks since ics uses more background apps. but trying too make sure that information is correct. I haven't found anything at this time if there will any delays of ics push. but I feel they will be a delay.due mostly too sprint programs

Why don't they just go the way they did with the gnex and ONLY include sprint zone for diagnostic purposes. It would save a lot of time and space in the long run considering currently the phone sips preloaded with about 9-11 bloatware( can't remember exactly) apps as it is now on gb.

On the ICS update on my phone (SPH-D710) - Epic 4G Touch , most of Sprint's bloatware can be uninstalled without rooting, and Sprint iD doesn't play a major part since it allows you to switch to the default ICS launcher. That's most likely how Sprint will do this update.

Wormy I'm pretty sure that's LGS stock gingerbread launcher preconfigured for sprint phones but I digress it was the same on my opti s when I had it and it sucks. Zeam is so much better
