Okay...So I've seen a lot of complaints regarding problems with the ICS update. However, I am curious how many people DIDNT have any problems. Myself, the ota update went off without a hitch on my phone. The first thing I did was watch the videos on the help menu, and you- tube. Overall, I am satisfied with the update. I know some of the changes I like are very subtle, but I'm curious how it has affected other bionic users. Any major/ minor criticisms? Any new game changing features? Likes? Dislikes? Overall for me, I like the app button. I no longer have my app folders on any screen, I simply access the folders thru the main screen button. All my folders are still there, and I can choose with folder to leave on this button. ( its news for me)

You'll always get that one whiner that will post the issue they're having in every single thread.
I like the new multitasking. I can "kill" apps with just a swipe.
I like the new Roboto font. On-screen, it looks a lot crisper and more modern than the previous Android font (I think the font was called Droid). Text seems easier to read.
I like the new lock screen and it's ability to swipe to four functions instead of one (unlock). I was never a big fan of apps that replaced OEM features, never used a launcher for more than an hour, never used anything like Widget locker. I always felt that those were just added bloat.
I like how I can now disable built-in apps that I don't use. It's not exactly uninstalling, they still take up space. But out of sight, out of mind.
I love Webtop 3.0. Using my Bionic in the Lapdock is much better now, especially with apps that can switch into tablet mode. Webtop 3.0 operation is much smoother. Motorola was a step ahead. If ICS was ready when the Atrix, Photon, and Bionic first arrived, we'd probably see it gain more traction that it did (though accessory pricing was probably the biggest thing that stifled adoption of Webtop).
I like having Widgets in the app drawer.
I like how Motoblur is toned down even more. I am in the camp that truly understands why OEMs "skin" their devices. Differentiation is key. Understand that, and get over it. I came from the original Motorola DROID, for all intents and purposes was a "Nexus"-like device used to launch Eclair. However, in my previously line of work, I did get to see the abomination that was the early generation of Blur devices. Going from Blur-less DROID to the GingerBlur DROID Bionic wasn't drastic. But going from Motorola's implementation of Gingerbread to Motorola's implementation of Ice Cream Sandwich is certainly a step in the right direction. If OEM "skins" are your main gripe, and you're not in the market to purchase a Nexus phone off-contract, Motorola should be your OEM of choice.
I like how reception has seemed to improve.
I like organizing my home screen with folders. I've cut down the number of screens I use.
I like how the phone feels faster.
I like how Google Music gives me lock screen controls now.
I don't like how they removed the ability to toggle between 3G-only and 3G/4G LTE in the settings menu. This isn't necessarily an ICS gripe though. This is something Verizon is doing to all of their smartphones. You can still toggle in a hidden menu though.
