ICS Texting Issue

Hey guys. I just downloaded ICS and had a few issues getting the phone to work using it. It kept getting extremely hot and freezing and rebooting. I took it out of it Otter Box and that cooled it off a bit.
Now I'm trying to text my friends but when I open the text messaging app, the loading bubble circles perpetually. I decided to try to send a message, but when I do, the app freezes and goes unresponsive. I Google's the issue and found little.

Here is what I've tried.
Force stopping the app and clearing the data.
Also tried GoSMS.

Neither worked.
Any help would be great. Thanks.

I would try a factory reset. I know it sucks to lose everything buy just make sure its all backed up with Google and it shouldn't be too big of an issue. I'm willing to bet it will fix your issues

No problem. I bet something just went weird with the update and screwed something up. Everything should be nice and smooth now

The only real problem that Im having with ics and texting, is that my vibrate on key press comes and goes. Did a factory reset as well once ICS was out. Happens when browsing or texting, pretty much happens anytime I type.
