I am overall happy with the ICS update for the Bionic I feel like we are at least semi-current now. I use googlae talk all day, but since the update I do not get notifications about incoming messages.

I have it set to Always Vibrate and Show Notifications... any advice on something to change? I can't uninstall and reinstall since its a native app and its very frustrating...

I don't seem to have an issue with being notified about messages coming in, but I have noticed a long lag in pulling up the friends list. Also, a much longer delay in the time I hit send to the point that I see it on the screen.

Notifications from Google Talk are showing up fine for me.

I do notice a lag when opening the app or switching to the app. It does seem like the list takes longer to load than when on Gingerbread.

mine's working ok. i get audible notification and shows up in the notification bar. i don't use vibrate. Wish could help, but just want to let u know that ICS hasn't messed up my particular phone, with respect to Google Talk.

It seems to me that some things, in particular google talk and the shortcut call, dialer, calling in general, takes much longer with ics. I recently upgraded on my bionic. It's like painfully slow to watch google talk come up and also a bit slower sending messages. The dialer, as i said, also slower.

So now I'm thinking about reformatting....start anew, see if that speeds things up.

Sigh, and i was so psyched for this update too.
