RUU = 600MB (complete program)
OTA = 300MB (just the update files)

But I thought ics is another beast that required different boot sequences and a clean install... I never like upgrades. I do full installs.

If you do an ota, that is an upgrade not necessarily a full install

I noticed since the update on my Maxx I have been using it more than my Rez even with the leak. Performance and screen wise ICS really changed the Maxx. Still love my Rez though.

i still love the rezound as well but i'm tired of al lthe errors i'm getting and i dont feel comfortable in putting a rom on it so i'll wait for the update to come out. its just nice having 2 phones that i can just switch sim cards with and not have to call verizon to have them switch over and give them some excuse to get rid of my unlimited data

I wondered if you could do that with sim cards. Thats cool. This is my first sim card phone.

I don't.usually like ota. I like to be.rooted then format everything system also and then flash a stock rooted Rom.

Yeah I don't remember the last time I did an OTA from verizon...viper rom though I just did it and it went flawlessly
