No doubt about it that the Nexus 6P is an amazing phone - and I will venture as far as to say it's the best phone I've owned. I made a really good decision switching from the clunky and unwieldy N6.
The camera on this thing is a beast. My iPhone friends are always clamoring for me to take photos on my 6P, particularly at night, because the camera is just that damn good. My only complaint is how slow processing can be with HDR and how disappointing the results can be from panorama (likely fixable in a software update).
Honestly, my only gripes with the 6P are software-related. Android is in desperate need of an iMessage-like client that works across different devices. If not for being locked in a contract and a grandfathered unlimited data plan with Sprint, I would've already switched to Project Fi and solved this problem already.
It also is slightly disappointing the lack of accessories there are for this phone. But you know what, these are marginal complaints when you consider a blazing fast fingerprint sensor, OTA updates on the regular, dat processor, and the power of Doze.
Hope Google sticks with Huawei for the next-gen 6P. That plus waterproofing and an SD card and Google will #takemymoney again this fall.
