Identifying Running Apps

In LP, I could quickly see which apps were running and subsequently stop them. In MM, I've having difficulties finding a way to identify an app that's running.

Can someone please point me in the right direction? Thanks in advance.

After Marshmallow the running apps (services) are included in the developer options. To enable them you need to tap 7-10 times on the build number in settings - about phone.

After you enable the Developer options you can keep them switched off and still access the running services.
