If I download a song bought using google play, is it using wifi when I play it?

I downloaded the song to the Play Music app on my new LG G5 and want to make sure before we run the 5K Saturday. Do not want to use all my data....

If you go into play music and select downloaded only you won't have to worry about using data

You can also go into the app settings and put streaming to wifi only.

you can... but the slight issue with that is it still shows you all the other stuff just grayed out... i kinda like with the downloaded only it only shows what i can play... but to each there own
