If i put my Data down to 3g will that save battery over LTE

Just wondering as my carrier does not have LTE, fastest i can get is HSPA, so if i set my phone to 3g only will that help to save battery

thought so, thanks for the advice, yeah i het H still with 3g only selected, thats the fastest my provider offer, figure no point in the lte radio searching is *** off

H is 3G isn't it? I think H+ is 4G
