if i unroot my device will it lock my carrier services overseas

I'm from Ecuador, i bought a HTC one max, it's the verizon model, i read that the fingerprint scanner dosen´t work if my phone is rooted, i want to unroot it, but if i do it will i lose the service from my ecuadorian carrier and will be locked for verizon service ??
