I can deal with the 2700 mAh considering the specs. now they're saying 64GB storage, but I can stomach 32GB ... but 2GB RAM IN ADDITION TO???

Normally I don't discuss price. I'm willing to pay for what I get, but if these rumors are true that 16GB version shouldn't be more than $299 tops IMO.

I'm not sure how I feel about that, but I'll certainly be hoping for way better specs from the Hauwei version, specifically a MUCH larger battery, 3GB RAM and 64GB.

What do you guys think?

2700mAh and 2GB RAM is 2013. I wouldn't want it. If I got it free, I'd put it on Swappa unopened.

5000mAh removable, 4GB (minimum, and preferably expandable, ala Ara), external SD, or I might as well keep my Note 3. (And I wouldn't buy it until Otterbox comes out with a case for it.)

other than the fingerprint sensor and USB-C (which remains to be seen if it's 2.0 or 3.1) there really aren't many new features from 2013 (I might be leaving our quick charge, can't remember).

it's understandable that we're not gonna see ground breaking, must have features every year. that's why for the life of me, I don't understand why these OEMs don't use larger batteries and market the hell out of em .... I was 9to5 Mac today, or whatever it's called. 95% of the posts were b:tching about battery size/thin phones.

they're not find stop until the laws of physics kicks in, and it's impossible to go thinner.

all honesty, give me a 5.7" nexus, or thereabouts, typical 2015 specs/features and put in a 4000+ battery, I'd pay $1000 with a smile on my face. I really would

Looking at the original source, I google translated that last bit..."quest'ultima da confermare" translates to "the latter to be confirmed"

Also, take a look at their own translated version:
The new LG NEXUS 2015 will sports a 64-bit 1.8 GHz hexa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 808 processor with CAT 6 LTE, 32/64 GB of internal storage and 2 GB of RAM (TBC).

Did Phonearena miss that bit?

The best combo out of this would be 32 and 64 for storage being correct and 3GB for RAM.

The only thing I can say in defense of this rumor is that my Nexus 5 runs Marshmallow well with 2GB of RAM. That doesn't make it any more acceptable, but it wouldn't be the end of the world for me. I still think 3GB should be the absolute minimum.

At this point 2015 had been such a disappointing year full of phone makers giving a finger to their fans that I wouldn't put any negative time past Google.

16 gb entry storage? 2 gb ram? $450 entry price?

Sure why not the worst of all worlds.

God, please let Lenovo leave the moto x software as, because right now moto is the only hope for actual great stock Android experience that gets consistently better each year, unlike how the nexus 6x is a huge downgrade from the nexus 6.

Perhaps it's fitting, what with the s810 being a huge fracking mess and ushering the year when most phones and all batteries disappointed.

Based on speculation/leaks a $400 64gb Nexus 6 does seems the best deal if you don't just have to buy the "new thing".

And if you do like the "new thing" you could pick up a brand new Moto X (2015) Pure Edition that works on every carrier... 64G version for $499... if you like a 5.7" screen that is.

So basically it's a Motorola X Pure Edition with a smaller screen.

With a completely different design, an added fingerprint scanner and no manufacturer software, but yes outside of that they are similar.

I'm not too worried if it did ship with 2gb ram. As long as it can manage the ram well and gives an overall good experience, that's what is important.

I have the S6 with 3gb ram and it has really quite poor ram management. Apps/web pages constantly reloading. Doesn't feel like a phone with 3gb ram.

Let's be honest. iPhones are damn fast phones, with specs that may not look amazing on paper. I would never completely write off a phone based on hardware specs. At the same time, I would never buy a seemingly underpowered phone on day one, which is a feeling most of us like.

I might have said something about the new Moto X 2015, but I don't believe for 1 minute that the new Nexus 5 2015 will only have 2GB of RAM... this will be have 3GB. A misprint by one website and it became a SMALL story... and of course it has to be a thread on AC. It will have 3GB.

I'm so glad I'm waiting and not getting this nexus. My current Nexus 5 is good enough to wait for a much better Nexus device.

Heck yeah. Marshmallow is all you need to get you to next year and by that point the 2016 nexus 5 will come with 820 processor and hopefully a 3000 mAh battery.

I don't think I can last another year. I'm willing to, but my Nexus 5 probably ain't. The GG oleophobic coating is gone so now there's like permanent smudging, my display is covered with fine scratches, there's several stress cracks, and a part of phone is raised because of a bad drop.

Nexus 5X or the Moto X Pure.

Ok so a finger print scanner, I'll give you that. Software wise they should be the same as Motorola states it won't have preloaded apps or software. Design wise they both look to be metal frame and the rest plastic.

I hear ya. I got a wireless charger because my port sucks. Also a new battery and did some major cleaning. My Nexus can go for a long time still. And now with marshmallow, I'm golden until a good nexus comes out next year.

At this point, we can't say it's a bad Nexus. It might seem like we know this phone inside and out, but the new rumors/leaks are conflicting with old ones. I think we should just sit back and wait for its launch before we start judging.
