Would you have chosen it? I grabbed the carbon, liked it most since day 1 though the frost is really nice too. The aluminum looks amazing also but kinda reminded me of an iPhone ... on a side note, I have a case but when I don't have it on, fingerprints have never been an issue as some have reported. Maybe those people just have oily hands or something.

Anyway, I've always admired but never considered getting any gold device (MacBook, iPhone, etc). The gold 6p is a serious looker though, especially with the contrast from the visor. It would've been a really difficult decision had it been available in the US. I think I might've rolled with it and I wonder why Google decided not to make it available outside Japan.

Nah, I love grays and blacks too much. All my devices (phones, tablets, iPods) have been gray or black.

I had the gold iPhone 6 plus, but with the 6p I took the aluminum simply because it was in stock when I needed it to be. But, perfect world, I would have likely gotten the gold one

I went from Black to White, Gold and now Rose Gold for my iPhone 6S 128GB. I would've picked up Gold if Huawei released it.

I likely would have stuck with Graphite which I purchased or as 2nd choice probably Aluminum.

If they made a microfiber Google case that complimented the gold, maybe.

I would have purchased the gold in a heartbeat. I am sooo sick of black phones. I now have the silver N6P. I like it, but it looks like soo many other phones.

No, I'm not going to cover up my phone with a colored cover just to make it different. I do have a clear one and love how it shows off the phone. I mostly put my phone on the table with the backside up so I can proudly wave my Nexus flag.

Venting, because I have a two-month old phone and want the gold one...

I was kinda bummed that the Gold didn't release initially, but I've always had black variants of phones. Although the Graphite certainly looks sleek, I pretty much decided on the Aluminum from the get go, and I'm happy. I imagine the Gold is gorgeous in person, though.
