If the Incredible is not out yet, why are there so many having one already?

I was very curious to know why so many people have the Incredible and it's not released yet? I realize sites like here, Boy Genius, CNET, Phone Areana, etc... get one to review. These are major sites and can see that but how does someone from a very smaill site get their hands on a Incredible? I see tons of them on Youtube and other places.

yeah, a "software glitch" mistakenly sent a batch out. Now word on exactly how many people have them but it seems like a brilliant marketing scheme.

No but its basically saying we gave it to some people, but not others. Yeah they can say it was accident, no way to prove though. So I call shenanigans!!

I ordered my phone on Tue. through my business account. I was under the assumption that i would get it on on the 29th or the 30th depending on the shipping. The Customer Service Rep. placed the order for me. She said that it would ship Fed-Ex 2 Day. I asked her if that was two days from the 29th and she said yes. I said can I please upgrade to overnight shipping. That way I would get it on the 30th; in time for the weekend. The next day Fed Ex comes to my office with my new Incredible. I was shocked to say the least. I think Vzw sent the phones out to the customers they wanted to send them out too. I'm sure I would still be waiting for this phone if I had ordered it under a personal account. If you have a business account give it a try.

I ordered over the phone, with a personal acct on the 19th and received mine in 2 days. It was just a glitch... I didn't expect it but I am stoked!

If you see when you're ordering that a notice is under with ** those stupid things that says items will ship when they become available to ship. So whats probably happening which I saw mentioned on other posts that they're probably shipping when they can to make sure they all get out by the 29th.
