If the Nexus 4 had T-Mobile WiFi Calling, I'd buy it.

The purpose of WiFi calling is to have cell-service at home, if you live in a dead zone, not to 'save minutes' (who even HAS a minute-plan with a smartphone?)

$30 Prepaid T-mobile subscriber here who would absolutely like to save minutes with WiFi calling :P

Further Google-Voice & number-porting hacks do not provide MMS, nor do they work as reliably as direct-dialing the phone...

Google Voice is not a hack and though it doesn't provide MMS, it does work flawlessly in my experience.

I'm curious what T-Mobile will end up doing with this functionality now that they will no longer subsidize phones. Are they going to make it available for every phone that connects to their network or just drop it completely until they start using VoLTE?
