If you are coming from a Pre or Crackberry this phone(Evo) is HUGE!

Well, considering that my first cell phone was a Nokia 2190 the evo won't take too much getting used to. The only phone that was hard to get used to was the Siemens S56 and the Moto V50, now that was a small phone even in today's standards

The Palm Pre sizes has always been issue for my huge hands. The HD2 feels amazing in my hands, can't wait for the EVO :)

I went from a Motorola Q to a Palm Pre.... I thought the Pre's screen was a huge jump.... Now going from a Pre to the Evo 4G..... I think I might have that excitement all over again!

I also came from a Q then the pre. Also excited to get my Evo

guns are the reason your free to type stupid comments like this.......;)

Too bad guns haven't taught you grammar? :P

Besides, it wasn't the firearms, but rather the people that used them. Firearms aren't the issue, it's the availability of firearms in the wrong hands that is the issue for gun control.

Ok, well that was my two cents on that tangent side topic...

In regard to the OP's post, I think I look forward to the Evo's size. I think it might be an issue lugging it around in my pocket, but I guess I'll learn to deal with it.

It's not the size that matters it's how good it feels in your hand. :)

To someone with large hands it will feel very comfortable but to someone with smaller hands it might not which is why size is so subjective.

The Pre was a lot smaller than I had imagined it would be when I got it. I'm curious to see the impression I get from the EVO.

Looked at a dummy demo phone at Best Buy today, my Palm Pre fits inside the screen foot print of the EVO. I can't wait to actually mess with a real EVO!!

the beauty of the EVO is you get so much display for your size buck. 30%+ more display for not that much more size and weight of device due to great design and judicious use of bezel.

This is my first post.

I've pre-ordered the EVO and I admit to being a little concerned that I'm going to find it too large. For the past several years I've been using a Palm 755p, which is certainly smaller. I guess I'll get used to it, and the on-screen keyboard might be easier because of the size of the phone.

aren't all of Best Buy's display phones dummies? I'm gonna hit a Sprint store and check it out, Best Buy has always been useless to me to try out phones, but I'll be there to buy one, ain't messing with the MIR..

I came from the Pre and yes this phone is huge. I must say I do miss WebOS' card system and the swiping. Which I still do....
