If you are interested in a Samsung Galaxy S10 device I recommend Swappa

Here is the policy on Samsung website. If I'm reading it right, if you buy the phone from sites such as swappa and eBay, not the original purchaser, Samsung warranty does not transfer to second buyer. Samsung may not always enforce these rules as it States it's up to Samsung in the long run.

Read number 1, number 7 under general terms and conditions. And number 1 under warranty guide.

I bought mine through a reseller who does this all the time and I was able to register it and Samsung confirmed my warranty. If you buy from an individual that bought it for himself that may be an issue especially if he registered it. LG has a similar written policy and I had them service a new unit purchased from a eBay reseller more than once. They asked for a receipt and actually accepted the eBay bill of sale.
There is always a risk if you don't know who you're buying from.

Yeah, I think most will honor the warranty, but according to their policy they do have the ability to deny the warranty if they want to. Personally, having to deal with Samsung would be a very bad day. I would probably just want to pay the deductible and file an insurance claim instead.

Good find
This what makes me nervous with a purchase from swappa or Ebay, I'm sure probably Samsung would honor it but still gets you thinking.

Again, as a family member works for AT&T. They only do exchanges within the first 14 days of purchase. After that, only insurance coverage, or manufacture. They will troubleshoot a device with you though and then get the manufacture on the phone with you for a replacement. I've also experienced this myself several times.

Well I dug a little further down the page, looks like AT&T does do exchanges.

Well, that isn't what AT&T website says their policy is. I also know a person that works for AT&T, and they confirmed what the website policy says. Either way, at this point you're going to believe what you believe, I'm going to believe what the website clearly States the policy is. It's really a waste of time to keep going back and forth at this point, people will find out when the time comes they need it. If you're right and AT&T website is wrong, I'm glad I'm a Verizon customer then.

I don't see why the AT&T site would clearly state it if it wasn't true... Doesn't make sense.
