If you could add/change one thing about Android what would it be?

The one thing that would make Android great would be to get the wireless companies out of the upgrade process. Upgrades should come straight from the phone manufacture.

I want to have a very specific feature for google maps. I want to be able to get on my pc find directions and customize a route then beam or sync that EXACT route directly to my Android phone for turn by turn navigation. It's way to hard to customize a route on a 5" +/-. It would also be nice if it would store customized routes in navigation so I could create a custom route for going wherever and back. I'ts my understanding you can do this with certain BMWs but why not all Android devices.

My Nokia Lumia was great for doing that exact thing. Nokia maps is one of the best if not there best maps service I have used on a smartphone

I may be mistaken, but I believe this is already possible using Chrome to Phone. I'm out and about at the moment, but I'll give it a shot later tonight when I get home.

Upon unboxing your android, you have a choice if you want carrier ROM or Google ROM. Phone downloads proper files, and installation begins.
Complete removal of bloatware. Just because a carrier puts Yahoo on my device doesn't mean I will use it.

Hmmm, I have a cool idea. As android is made by Google, if you play a song on your phone in the stock music app, it should give you the choice to search and watch that music video on YouTube in the stock music app, without opening the YouTube manually and searching. It would certainly be handy at times.

Only one thing? Easy. A full backup of device including all app data without having to resorting to rooting a device. Would be nice if it backed it up to the cloud too, a la Apple's icloud, but I would be happy even if it just backed up to my computer. No more of these half baked phone maker backup solutions or 3rd party apps. I want a solution from Google. i want it baked in to Android. And I want it to work well.
