Hi. Just got my Epic today (switched from the Pre). So far I am really liking it. One of the main apps I wanted was iheartradio so I could listen to my morning radio show in the office. But it doesn't seem to work.
I launch the app, see my station, but when I select it, it just keeps say 'connecting', but never actually connects.
Any thoughts? Thanks.

fyi, if anyone else was trying to use it. according the the iheart radio website, it doesn't look like it's compatible with the Epic yet.
dunno why, i will try to find out though

I have no problem paying for the app if it has the station I am looking for. Would you mind checking? WNCI-Columbus OH

oh geeze, <head slap> I forget that a lot of the apps have web based versions as well. never even occurred to me to check.

THANKS!

Check out Tunein Radio app on the market. Reminds me of radio time on the pre and it's free.

I just got the Epic yesterday, and I also can't get iheartradio to connect. I've read another thread about this problem.

Tunein, although free, does not have the radio station I'm looking for (TheBuzz 94.5 from Houston <-- has a morning show I actually like).

The suggested app RadioTime does though. Only a couple bucks.... Thanks...

I use to have a USB dongle in my truck and streamed The Buzz on my Netbook... I like it that much.

That one is not available on RadioTime. You can contact the developer, sure he can easily add it.

I got it and then uninstalled it (RadioTime). They listed my station on their website, but do not support it.

No Clearvision radio stations are on it.

looks like you can just browse to iheartradio com and it will reckognize you're on an android device and it gives you option to side-load the iheartradio app

If the morning show you like is Lex and Terry (I know they are based out of Texas now), they have their own app in the market.
