I hear overclocking can even help increase battery life, still trying to find the sweet spot

ATM I am 245-787 MHz on demand

What y'all recommend?

There are no good recommendations. It all depends on your specific phone, each batch of OV's is a little different.

I run Smartassv2 729-825. I have 23% left, running MIUI. Miui has a battery drain though. So ;P

Any recommendations for governor? When I use smartass, I drain like crazy...and phone doesn't charge.

The generic sweet spot is 480 for the minimum.
There is little to be gained and lots to lose going lower or higher for the minimum.
The high, as stated is dependent on your phone.

Smartass2 seems the preferred setting.
