Il still be able to get updates if I root right?

Hello, I am a complete noob to rooting, I just want to root so that I would be able to use titanium backup, if I root with cf-autoroot il still be able to get updates from Google right? My phone is Nexus 5

I don't think so, if they check for root then no.
If they don't, you could lose root but maybe not, it depends on the update.
Usually people unroot then update then try root again.

The Nexus 5 will still receive updates if you're rooted, but they may fail if you have a custom recovery installed.

Either way, after you receive the update you will no longer be rooted.
