I'll be keeping my phone

How is that battery?
So far so good, it's almost identical to the v20 battery. I've been able to get two charges with the case before it dies. Still doing the cycles, but so far that's 3 full batteries before I have to charge the case again.

I went to the site. So if I read it correctly, the phone will still rapid charge as a pass-through but I guess the extended battery is slow charge.
Does it enhance the sound or diminish it?

I haven't charged it with the phone inside yet, maybe I'll do that when I'm falling asleep if it's dead.
I enjoy having the speakers up front, sound it louder, sometimes better sometimes too much of a high frequency, but so far with YouTube & Amazon Prime Music its been great.

I've charged my Zerolemon with the phone inside. It will charge the phone first and then the case. It seems the phone is quick charge because the charging speed is about the same. However the case, being 8000mAH, takes several hours to fully charge, at least 4-5 hours. So I usually just throw it on the charger overnight.

I was wondering if everyone on this thread bought new phones every 6 months. . .
Pretty much lol

I was going phone crazy the last 6-8 months but like someone said after a while there's not much different between the phones. Not worth the $$$ IMO to switch every 6 months...

I wish Zerolemon would put some thought into aesthetics of their cases. Black rubber without rounded edges leave something to be desired.

I agree with you but I wish they had more of a lip around the screen. Anyone has suggestions for a screen protector? I have a tempered glass screen protector but if the Zerolemon fell face down, onto screen, don't think the screen will survive! Since the weight of the battery will all be onto the screen face down

I wish Rhinoshield would release a screen protector for the LG G6. Had one for the iPhone 7 plus, and although plastic is super tough

There are very few plastic that feel as good as glass. The best plastic ones I've seen but that was a few years ago was Steinheil. Don't even know if they are still around.

Jeremiah, you hit it square for me. I average 2 new phones a year because there hasn't been a phone yet to hit ALL the check boxes for me. It comes down to compromise...battery(Moto Z+Mods) vs Camera(G6) vs CC payments anywhere (Samsung). While I could map this out all day, I am finding that the G6 really does hit the sweet spot for me. Maybe instead of being unhappy ALL THE TIME about my "perfect phone" not being out there, I need to be CONTENT with what I have and just learn to modify here and there to get what I need.

Sure, the G6 doesn't give me the 3 days of battery that my Moto Z + Mod would, but I really get good pics now AND I have wireless charging pads at home and work...along with USB-C wires in the car and on my scooter. Oh, and a battery backup pack that I need to order.

Samsung Pay? Well, I don't leave home without my wallet MOST of the time, but when I do....I can find a McDonald's somewhere that will feed me with my NFC Android Tap To Pay...or the WalmartPay app that I can go buy food with...or Starbucks app that will provide me coffee via my refillable virtual card.

So Jeremiah, you've called me out (unbeknownst to you) and I'm going to make this work. The G6 is a great phone. MrMobile agrees as well...so I am going to stop "peeking over the wall" and wanting whatever seems greener over there that I don't have. As you may know, that didn't work so well for Lot. ;)

Ok, @nathdogg1985...I'm throwing down the gauntlet.

Who's with me? G6 to the death!!!!

You know we are brothers man, we must be going through similar things with our idea of contentment. Glad that we connected and can stay in touch.

Yeppers. You have my digits...use them whenever you need to. Why? Because we KNOW we have good phones on T-Mobile. <High Five>

PS-I sure would like another one of those orange coffees from Duet. That was the bomb, Mr. Bonds.
