Im a noob and broke my phone. Please help.

The only other question I would have is I seem to have about 150Mb less memory. After killing everything I used to have about 350 and now it shows 200 after killing everything. Does this rom just use more memory?

The Bamf ROMs incorporate a newer version of Sense that HTC hasn't made available for ThunderBolts, and it does require more memory so what you're seeing is normal. When I was running Bamf ROMs with Sense 3.0, I usually had about 130-150 megs of memory free after a reboot.

Yes getting service and everything is running great. Should I install my apps before doing the backup?

I would say make one now and after setting everything up. But if you want to you can wait until everything is setup to your liking.
Are you talking about your ram or your SD card
200 is plenty of ram to do anything you want. I wouldn't worry about it.

Install your apps and get everything setup before performing the backup in recovery. That way if you need to restore the backup, you won't have to reinstall the apps and reconfigure your settings.

Edit: Unless you're short on space on your SD Card, it wouldn't hurt to backup before getting all your apps reinstalled and your phone set up. That way, you'll also have a backup of the fresh install too.

Normal memory consumption for sense 3.0.

AOSP and sense 2.1 Roms have more free memory if you want it.

I have no idea what I'm doing but I screwed up my phone so ill tell you exactly what I did. I rooted my phone with revolutionary. I worked great. I downloaded the bamf 1.0.9 file only, from their forum. I did not unzip. Placed it on the sd card. Turned my phone off. Held volume and power to get to hboot. Went to recovery. Install zip from sd. Picked the 1.0.9 file. Rebooted. My phone now shows the HTC logo on boot, then goes to the thunder animation, then back to HTC and over and over again. Please help me if you can. Thanks in advance.

P.S. I have been away from home for a month and have another month to go. This is my only phone and I need it to talk to my kids so please help if you can. Thanks again.
what you need to do is to get it back into recovery mode and do a factory reset also the cache reset also then reboot

Dood did you even read this post? If you tell someone to just do a factory reset and wipe cache to solve the problem of installing a patch as a full ROM. It's obvious you DO NOT know what you're talking about. This problem was solved by NotJustAPhone and I two weeks ago. You may even want to learn a little about punctuation and capitalization. And please don't give advice on something you don't read through. If you had taken the time to read this post you might have learned something you could pass on later. If someone else has a similar problem. Reading gains knowledge. Do your best to gain more knowledge as it will benefit you and others in the long run.
