I was stupid; probably deserve a public flogging really

But I sold my Note 8 and dropped back to using my Nexus 6P and bought a Pixel XL too (swapped them about a bit, one for personal, one for business etc)

Dropped the XL and damaged it beyond repair, but preferred the N6P anyways. IMO, it's just a better phone!

Then bought an iPhone 8 Plus; IMO, brilliant phone, but got so bored of it so quickly... I love Apple, their phones bore me though...

So, bought another Note 8

It's about the best mobile I've ever had TBH

Stunning screen, lightning fast and the perfect size really... Makes the IP8+ screen look dated

Just waiting for Android O to update to the Note 8 here in the UK and it'll be perfect then

LOL ! I did the same thing. Sold my Note 8 and got a iPhone X and just switched back to a new unlocked Note 8. After all that I wonder what in the hell was I thinking ???

I'm curious why you didn't try the pixel 2 xl. I got back and forth between it and note 8 and can never make up my mind.

Hahaha, same problem here. Love love Note 8 and pixel 2 xl is a great phone too. Freaking killing me lost in what to do.

I wish I can use the same number on both phones at the same time. Switching sim back and forth sucks.

That's scary because I just did the same thing today. I had the X and got rid of it and got the Note 8 back.

Setting mine up right now actually. It just came in. Glad it still had my backup on Samsung so I was able to restore it fairly easy and now using Syncios to restore my Texts, call logs and photos from it over to my Note 8.

Well, at least the 9+ is along the same lines as the Note lol. Maybe have both? In the past I've done that. In this case.... not sure becasue the Note 9's around hte corner. But the Note 8 has been a great phone, even with the warranty replacement I had to get.

I'm in the same boat. If the Note8 does everything's you need, why waste the energy switching back and forth? It's nice to have a new phone, but to me not worth it changing more than once a year.

I can see why folks love this phone. I did something stupid, but I'm not regretting it...I bought two...Orchard Grey and the Black. These are very nice devices.

I have to ask why you feel that you need to be on Oreo for the Note 8 to be perfect? I think mine only needs stereo speakers and will then be perfect. Come on Note 9!

The Note8 is perfect for me right now, nothing else will do until it's successor arrives. Don't know how some of you left it for something like an iPhone, I would have gone mental.

I tried a Note 8 back in November. Got one in the mail today. Will see if I give it another shot.
I also just got done setting up my Panda Pixel 2XL.
