I'm having a problem with the Gmail app.

I have my Gmail account fetching a personal and work pop account. I set that up on my phone using this How-to:

Here is the problem. The email is coming to the phone fine but it doesn't sync from there. In other words...when I get home or to work and check my email there via Outlook and move, archive, or delete the email it doesn't update the phone. All the email stays on the phone and I have to delete it there also. Shouldn't it update as I remove email from the servers?

Just to clarify, are you saying that you delete mail from your personal and work POP account you want them also to delete from gmail automatically? Unfortunately, it doesn't work that way. POP mail access just downloads whatever is in the mail server and does not store the state of whether or not you have read it somewhere else. If Gmail connected to other mail servers using IMAP this should happen. Perhaps at some point in the future gmail will support IMAP fetching of mail from other servers, but for now they do not.
