I have a galaxy s6 edge+ and I am all of a sudden getting spam messages in my inbox on my phone but on my computer they automatically go in my spam folder. I was having trouble with emails (when I would delete them on my phone they were back in my inbox the next time I opened my mail app). I saw a thread on this site on how to change the settings so that I could permanetly delete my emails on my phone so I made that change. Ever since then all emails that go to spam on my yahoo mail when I look on my computer now go to my inbox on my edge+. Is there a setting to keep this from happening?

Same thing here with my edge + and I'm using comcast. I am using outlook app and haven't gotten anymore spam mail. Also you can foreword your email to Gmail and will fix it too. Other than that I'm lost too.

Don't need to forward to Gmail, you can add your Yahoo email account to Gmail. That's what I did and now everything goes through the Gmail app. After you add the account to Gmail, disable or uninstall your Yahoo email app. I only need the Gmail app to view my Yahoo mail and Gmail on my phone. Makes it much more simple to check my mail now. It's all in one place with the Gmail app...
