I had a palm pre prior to getting a samsung epic. I had the calendar on my pre sync with google calendar from the first day I got it. Which worked out well as all the events synced over to my epic. But here is where the problem begins. None of the notification aspect got transferred over even though on google calendar and on my pre the events show the how long before start time to notify me. I thought no big deal I'll just manually update the events on my epic to properly notify me. Which leads to the real big problem. After changing the how long before to notify me setting on two events they were auto deleted after I exited from the calendar. As a result they were deleted from google calendar and subsequently from my pre. Obviously this is bad because it would be a real hassle to have to manually duplicate these events and delete the ones that didn't get created correctly and continue to not be correct as a result of not properly syncing. I'm concerned that whatever is happening here will cause issues in the future if I have to change the reminder times or existing or future added events Any solution?

I still don't know what caused the issue in my post however because I wanted the calendar on my samsung epic to alert me of the events on my calendar I went about trying a few things to see if it occurred under newly created events on the palm pre which syncs to google calendar and as a result syncs to the epic. The newly created event syncs all details except for the notification setting even though all three calendars have the specific notification option available. However this is not an issue with the newly created events because they didn't get auto deleted when adding the notification option, beginning at the epic down the line to the pre unlike the old ones with the same exact details.

However this lead to another issue that I can't resolve by creating the events all over again. I have several events which have a custom interval such as every 3 days and every 5 days. However it appears the android calendar doesn't have custom or advanced repeat intervals and only has daily, weekly, monthy (on first x day of week), monthly (on x date), and yearly (on x date). Attempts to add the notification to events with repeat intervals not available in the android calendar but available in google calendar and the pre all future occurrences of the event are deleted beginning on the epic and syncing down to google calendar and then the pre instead of updating with the added notification option. Is there a solution for having events with every x days, weeks etc type events? And/or a solution to the android calendar not syncing the notification setting? Ideally having a solution to both problems would be nice but I'll compromise for the lesser solution of syncing the notification setting and creating the events on google calendar or the pre until the other is solved as well.
