IMO the real reason for the delay is probably because they are trying to work around the root exploit that was in the prototype.

Not sure they will even offer a 1 year price on phones put into the 4G bracket just like the iPhone bracket phones will they? Only say that being I do not believe they offer a 1 year price on the iPhone. Also verizon Rep said that is how they base the insurance tiers currently as to right now it is:

[iPhone 4 - $10.99 with $169.99 deductible for 16GB / $199 for 32GB]
