i was figuring to add at least $70-but it's always nice to have confirmation! I wanna go through verizon anyhow-and i was getting nervous if the two-year price was going to be $300. Good looking out, thanks.
same hear i have $340 put aside and i want a 1 year plan i'll put up with another $10 - $20 including taxes but if the grand total goes over that well i'm gonna have to go with a 2 year plan and i really don't want that
Not sure they will even offer a 1 year price on phones put into the 4G bracket just like the iPhone bracket phones will they? Only say that being I do not believe they offer a 1 year price on the iPhone. Also verizon Rep said that is how they base the insurance tiers currently as to right now it is:

[iPhone 4 - $10.99 with $169.99 deductible for 16GB / $199 for 32GB]

just like everything else will have to wait and find out. Curious though, the last couple of vzw phones i have bought have been online and at the one year price. Do vzw stores do one year deals also or just online? Anyone with knowledge/experience over this?
The only reason Verizon probably doesn't have the iPhone on a 1 year is because there is no way Apple aka "Steve Jobs" would allow them to.
I see no reason why they wouldn't allow it on the Thunderbolt.

Why? I would think Apple would like to sell more iPhones on a yearly upgrade basis. Seems more likely it's Verizon that's using the popularity of the iPhone to force people into 2-year contracts.
Exactly. That forces them to buy the new one at FULL RETAIL if they want to upgrade. It makes perfect sense if you are the ones selling the phones.
i believe apple is directly responsible for lack of a 1 year contract on iphone since all there other phones have a 1 year
I just got off the phone with a vzw rep and she stated the TB will not be released untill anywhere from mid march to the end of march. According to the rep she had the info on her computer. Sure hope it comes out way sooner. Has anyone else heard of a release date of mid march?

In anyway im not trying to imply anything different. I was curious if anyone else had heard the end of march release date. I totally am going with OG. His imformation and pictures seems to prove very accurate and am looking for a release date of march 3 or 4th
technically speaking quarter one ends at the end of march right? So, as beyond impatient as many of us are-things are in a sick and strange way on track.

Verizon killed one year contracts as of about a month ago, same with NE2. If you were Gfathered in, you can still use it. But once you re-up your contract, 2 year only, and no more NE2... :-\
