I just got a Home, already have an Echo and a Dot, and am having a hard time with the Music. I just have the free account since we have over 20K songs loaded into our library, but when I tell Home to play an album or song from the library it always says it can't find it so here's something similar. What it does is then play the song I requested and then play a station it comes up with, not the album that I can see in my Play Music app. I figured that Google is probably thinking they can force an upgrade, but that won't happen anytime soon. Is there any way to play my music?I have two Echo's and a Dot. I just received my Google Home today. As a music lover, I am already disappointed in that music has to cast from your phone rather than play from the cloud. Maybe I missed that in reviews but was not expecting that. Plus, when I do stream, it won't play from my Google Music library but from Google Music in general. It will do my playlists. But even then, it seems to crash on my phone (casting) and stop playing after a few songs.
But going to use it at the office for a good while so I can give a well informed opinion of it.
UPDATE - I did turn off WiFi on my phone and it does play your Google Music without casting. SO my next question is where is the setting to turn off "Casting When On Same Wifi" default?
Update, I just opened the Home app, it has all of my Music services, Slacker, PocketCast, Play Music, so I can use my phone to cast to the device but I'm looking for a way to tell it play an album verbally, thanks for any help.
